Description
Our Client is one of Bermuda’s leading providers of information technology and communications solutions. They are currently looking to hire a senior level IT Consultant/Project Manager who will be responsible for driving departmental service revenue, quality control, and overall customer satisfaction. The Principal IT Consultant will be expected to act in a Project Management and Level-3 support capacity for the entire team, ensuring incidents and projects are planned and executed according to departmental standards and quality assurance is maintained. The Principal IT Consultant will be expected to develop strategic relationships with Clients, through the development and maintenance of “trusted advisor” status. In addition to departmental revenue and quality control responsibilities, the Principal IT Consultant is responsible for assisting in presales and product development activities, as well as the mentorship of junior level staff. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: ? Demonstrated ability to assess and mitigate risk within IT initiatives and projects ? Industry experience and/or credentials as required for a Principal IT consultancy position ? Exemplary customer service, written and verbal skills ? Ability to identify and articulate business problems ? Ability to develop IT solutions for business problems ? Ability to prioritize and delegate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously ? Ability to lead, motivate and direct technical teams ? Wide breadth of IT and business knowledge ? Broad-based understanding of the Company’s technology, products and services ? Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction; ? Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required ? Maintain current certifications and development of professional goals

Skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field • And minimum five (5) years relevant experience in a professional services environment • And minimum of two (2) years project management experience - PMP or Prince 2 qualification mandatory • And two (2) or more of the following certifications: o CISA, ITIL, COBIT, PMP, MCSE, MCT, MCSA, MCSE, MCSD, MCDBA, CCA, CCEA, CCIA, CCSA, CCSE CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CISSP, VCP Or • Minimum seven (7) years relevant field experience • And two (2) or more of the following certifications - PMP or Prince 2 qualification mandatory o CISA, ITIL, COBIT, PMP, MCSE, MCT, MCSE, MCSD, MCDBA, CCA, CCEA, CCIA, CCSA, CCSE CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CISSP, VCP • This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude. • Certificate in Customer Service Management would be an asset • Experience auditing and implementing ITIL and COBIT compliance structures and processes would be considered an asset.
